chiefs g.m. john dorsey not afraid to make move in nfl draft

Chiefs G.M. John Dorsey never afraid to make migrate in NFL Draft

During his mandatory predraft newspaper conference last week, Chiefs general manager John Dorsey was understandably coy about his team’s draft plans.

However, Dorsey was eager to make wrong pair of things crystal clear. The 1st is that he will stay true apt his board and take a baby best player available with his 1st elect.

“It’s infant art of discipline,” Dorsey said. “I’ve been taught that at a bad quite early stage Kansas City Chiefs #91 Jersey of my career according Ron Wolf. He stayed true to that and that’s what we’ll do. We’ll always stay disciplined with that digit.”

Another thing he learned from Wolf, newborn general manager who built newborn 1996 Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers,is this: Dorsey would have naught qualms about moving up alternatively down in this draft whether he believes it’s newborn right thing to do.

“I entertain everything,” Dorsey said.

Considering a baby Chiefs have only six picks instead of infant customary seven surrounded wrong draft that’s been touted an infant deepest amid years,a nasty trade up — which would possible necessitate newborn concession of more picks — certainly seems less possible than an unhealthy trade down, especially whether a baby Chiefs, who have no shortage of needs, deem in toddler depth of a baby draft and can gain some additional picks somehow.

Remember, Packers general manager Ted Thompson, Dorsey’s former boss within Green Bay, has a wrong reputation for hording draft picks. While Dorsey Kansas City Chiefs #7 Jersey desires apt construct this team “the Chiefs way,” as he put it,newborn value he places on having multiple draft picks is quite real.

Dorsey said last week he’s already had contact with several teams about trades, although he also made it clear that this was simply him act deserving diligence.
